Boss the Breadmaker

Today at school, Boss had an “in-house” field trip. They had a baker come in and teach bread-making! This is my kind of lesson! The bag he brought his bread in boasts “hands-on learning and fun!”. I am a little upset I didn’t get to chaperone. 🙂

Boss was super proud of his bread and couldn’t wait to share it with the family for dinner. He and Wildman have been showing interest in cooking lately and I LOVE it. I let them help and want them to learn. Boss wanted to cut and butter the bread for everyone. He did an amazing job slicing and carefully using the knife.

I am one proud Momma!

And everyone loved the bread which made him feel so good! I wish I could have had some. Cakes ate hers and asked for more…

But there wasn’t any!
