All my kids are the cutest ever. EVER!
We had Adam’s Class Christmas Party this morning. It went very well. All the kids are so cute and sweet. They sang us some songs and then SANTA made a visit. Adam was the first of all the kids to actually get in his lap. Most of them were only comfortable enough to stand next to him. Not Adam. He knew the drill.
Adam had to stand in front of the class and all the parents to direct Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. He can be very shy so this was a super proud moment for me!
After the singing and Santa, it was gift time!! First, the teachers presented the room mom with her gift. I can only hope that all the room mom’s I have to deal with will be as friendly and efficient as Carol. I love this picture because you can see her son, the little guy to the right, being very protective. It was so cute! He was fussing at the other kids to back off so she could open her present. Look at the look on his face. Don’t mess with his mom!!! Whoa!!
Next, we presented the teacher’s Christmas gifts. I had the pleasure of being the “gift purchaser”. I have to give credit where credit is due, Thank you to Missy! She gave me the excellent idea of the Vera Bradley bags. The teachers seemed happy with the gifts.Carol gave me the idea of getting a wall clock for the classroom. The clock that had been on the one side of the classroom broke and it was obvious that the teachers found it convenient to have a clock on both sides of the (rather large) classroom. Both teacher were VERY happy with the simple wall clock I got from walmart!
Once all the gifts were given, it was chow time! Pigs in a Blanket, Mac & Cheese, Christmas Cookies – Lunch of Champions!
The party was success. Everyone was having a good time!
